Typically if you are already having condensation issues with your old windows then it's going to be an issue with the new window. Condensation occurs as a result of relative humidity inside your home and the outside temperature. Also, a factor is air movement around the windows. Old inefficient and drafty windows allow air movement by the glass which may clear up the condensation. This comes at the cost of a higher utility bill. New energy-efficient windows seal the home up, retaining the warm and cool better air as there is reduced air exchange. This in turn can raise the relative humidity inside the home. Many factors contribute to a higher humidity level in the home and there are many ways to reduce it.
